Kodama composites design and handcraft bespoke lightweight composite guards to add protection to your adventure and trail motorcycle.
The guards are made using woven carbon fibre cloth for strength and stiffness and Kevlar/Aramid to give good impact and abrasive resistance.
Tri-axial carbon is used to add more strength and thickness to further avoid penetration and a final inside layer of glass fibre to allow easier finishing for fit of the inside surface of the guard.
The outside layer of the guard is a polished clear flow coat which gives a tougher outer finish to resist scratches and allow ease of repair and refinishing if required in the future. We can also give the outside layer of the guard a coating of clear lacquer at request.
All guards are finished by hand and checked for correct fitment against the manufacturers equipment they are designed to fit before dispatch.
