This carbon/kevlar composite bashplate has been designed to give added and extended protection to your bike and to directly replace the stock underride protection. It mounts in the same way as the original with its own aluminium brackets and hardware. It will accomodate the low rally exhaust if required, and also the relocated sidestand. We can add a  cut out to the centre rear to allow enough room for a mainstand if fitted. It is less than 2.5 kg with all brackets and hardware. The composite bashplate has  been tested on several machines in harsh/race conditions and has done its job very well. 
 
 For low exhausts we will add heat reflective film to the inner surface to avoid any exhaust pipe heat radiation issues--and so far tests over a few thousand miles have been fine.
The bashplate is polished to a gloss finish rather than lacquered. We will include assembly guidelines --and this is particularly important with a low exhaust as it obscures the rear RH mounting bracket bolt--and the bashplate extends rearwards much more than stock.
